OCTOBER
DEATH VALLEY
Death Valley National Park is an amazing place, and one of my favorites. It's immense, sparsely visited, and lonely - with signs of human interaction few and far between. I love it! At Badwater you stand at 282 feet below sea level. As you look across the valley at the Panamint mountain range, you see Telescope Peak at over 11,000 feet in altitude. There are a variety of weird and other worldly land formations throughout the Park. Below this month's "other images" you will find my Calendar for 2009. That will give you a wider look at some of my favorite places in Death Valley. Now is a great time to think about giving the Death Valley a visit!
I have chosen to just focus on mud patterns for this month of October. Below are some examples.
I didn't have a blog in 2009, so the images were titled. Some liked that, some not! I prefer the blog, do you?
Let me know if you enjoyed this blog, if you have any favorite images!
Stay safe and sane!
